These Terms govern your use of Simpler Sport. By using the service, you agree to them.

1. The Service

Simpler Sport provides tools to organize sports groups, including rosters, schedules, and messaging.

We provide the platform. Group organizers and users control how it is used.

2. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate contact information
  • Maintaining access to your email or phone number
  • Any activity associated with your participation in a group
3. Organizers and Group Responsibility

Group organizers are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of roster and contact information
  • Ensuring they have permission to add individuals to a group
  • Managing communications sent to their group

Simpler Sport does not control or verify group data.

4. Messaging (Email and SMS)

Simpler Sport sends messages on behalf of group organizers.

By using the service, you understand that:

  • Messages are initiated by organizers, not Simpler Sport
  • Organizers are responsible for having permission to contact recipients
  • Message delivery depends on third-party providers and is not guaranteed

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Send spam, harassment, or unwanted messages
  • Upload or share data without appropriate permission
  • Violate any applicable laws

We may restrict or remove access for misuse.

6. Fees

Simpler Sport may offer paid features (such as SMS messaging).

  • Fees, if any, will be clearly disclosed
  • We may change pricing in the future
7. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We may:

  • Modify or remove features
  • Perform maintenance or updates
8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or the service is misused.

9. Third-Party Services

The service relies on third-party providers (such as email and SMS delivery).

We are not responsible for their performance.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • Simpler Sport is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (if any)
11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated Terms.

Addendum – SMS Messages

1. Team Event Invitations

Simpler Sport optionally provides SMS invitations for team events managed by your group's administrator.

2. Opting Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, text START or sign up on the website and we will send SMS invitations to you again.

3. Help

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly via support@simplersport.com.

4. Carrier Delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Rates and Frequency

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive one SMS invitation for each event your group administrator creates (typically one per week). If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
